When Vidrush is the better choice
- You want real footage. Vidrush matches your topic to footage from the web, and we do not use stock or archival clips.
- You want text overlays. Vidrush's editor has them; we add a captions file, not on-screen titles.
- You want an AI avatar presenter. Vidrush offers avatar videos; we don't.
- You want a full editor. Vidrush has drag and drop editing and plain-English change requests. Our scene editor is smaller.
- You need team seats or several videos rendering at once. Their plans list both.
When Longformly fits better
- You make one or a few long videos and do not want a monthly plan. You pay $6.90 for the first and $9.90 for each after, up to 60 minutes.
- You want to see your own topic before paying. The free preview is 10 seconds with a watermark and needs no card.
- You make history for sleep: one painterly style, slow motion and period details checked for accuracy.
- You make a space documentary: public-domain photographs where they exist, and a credits file for every image.

Questions
Is Longformly affiliated with Vidrush?
No. Longformly is an independent product. Vidrush is a trademark of its owner, and everything we say about it comes from its public website.
Who should not choose Longformly?
If you want real footage, text overlays, an AI avatar presenter or a full timeline editor, Vidrush is the better fit. We make calm, painterly films from your script and do not use stock or archival clips.
Can I make a 60-minute video?
Yes. Paste a script of up to 50,000 characters and choose any length up to 60 minutes. A short film of a few minutes works as well.
Do I need a subscription?
No. The free preview is 10 seconds with a watermark and needs no card. A full video up to 60 minutes is $6.90 for your first and $9.90 after that, paid once per video.
Can I monetise these videos on YouTube?
The video is built for it: your own script, licence-clean images and sound, and a credits file you can paste into the description. Monetisation is always YouTube's decision, and we cannot promise it.
