Refund Policy
Failed renders are never charged. How minutes return to your balance, and how to ask for a refund in writing.

Failed renders are never charged
You always see the free preview first. If a full video fails to render, you are not charged for it. The minutes reserved for that render go back to your balance automatically, and you can retry without pasting the script again. You do not need to ask.
If a video finishes shorter than first estimated, you are charged only for the minutes actually delivered, and the rest returns to your balance.
Credits for a render that fails for good
If a render fails after the allowed retries, its credits (one credit is one minute of finished video) return to your balance. Credits returned to your balance are not a refund to your payment method; they stay available for your next video.
Refund on written request
If you are unhappy with a delivered video, or a render failed and you would rather have your money back than keep the credits, write to us. Tell us the date and what went wrong, and we will look at the video and answer by email. Where we agree, the refund goes back to the original payment method through Stripe.
We may decline a refund for a video that follows your script as written, for a render stopped by our content rules, or for a purchase whose minutes have all been used.
What this does not cover
We do not guarantee that a video will be accepted or monetised on YouTube or any other platform, and a platform decision is not a reason for a refund. A free preview is free and has nothing to refund.
How to ask
Use the contact form or email support@longformly.com. Include the link of your video page (it looks like /videos/...) so we can find it quickly.
