What we use
Longformly uses cookies and similar browser storage for a small number of things:
- Session cookie (essential). Keeps your guest or signed-in session, so your videos appear in "My videos" and your checkout can be matched to your project.
- Security and abuse prevention. Small checks that stop automated misuse of the free preview.
- Draft script (your browser only). Your script is kept in your browser's local storage so a reload or a return from checkout does not lose it. It is not sent anywhere until you ask for a preview.
- Analytics. An anonymous visitor identifier and campaign tags (for example where you arrived from), used to count visits and the steps people take. We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.
Managing them
Your browser lets you delete or block cookies and local storage. If you block the session cookie, previews, "My videos" and checkout will not work.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
